Our theme of the week continues to remind the kids of their unique and important role in God's plan.
We have been presented with multiple opportunities to continue loving on, and supporting these beautiful kids. We are excited to share the details, needs and wonderful vision of their ministry.
The group continues to discuss our next steps as individuals, families, church and body of Christ. I can hardly believe the week is coming to an end. Continuing to make the most of every opportunity!

Today after talking with Zack, we decided to sponsor a child from the orphanage. His name is Javier and he is the oldest brother to Sandra and Enrique who Dave and Alissa and their girls are sponsoring.
I learned that Javier likes horses and his favorites subject is matemáticas. He is a very happy boy and I'm looking forward to corresponding with him in the future. This morning we got to go see the land where they plan on building the new orphanage where they hope to be moving soon.
I also have had some great spiritual conversations with two of the boys here, Augustín and Eleazer, where one of them told me he's asked Christ into his life. Augustín told me he still hasn't decided. Pray for Augustín.
It was a great day, seeing and understanding more of the mission and vision of Esperanza Viva. They take in those kids/families that state run orphanages won't take and they rehabilitate them.
Tonight two staff members who lead worship at their church are coming to do devotions with us. Then at 8:00pm we are going back to the orphanage with glow sticks to have some fun with them.
Tomorrow we are going into downtown Puebla to the zócalo and the market. We are also hoping to go to a restaurant and then we'll head back to the orphanage where we'll have our despedida or "good-bye" with the kids.
Lots of sun today, feeling a little burnt! The weather has been great and no one has gotten sick. It will be hard to say good-bye but I have to say I miss my babies!! (and you too honey!)
Hasta pronto,
Theresa
PS- tonight we are having chicken, black beans and rice
