The Hope Project Day Two (Wednesday)
There are amazing things happening here. Although we face a spoken language barrier I feel no barrier of our heart language as we worship and seek after God together. We are working together, joining with Fernando and the Naciones church worship team to do a concert this Saturday night. Today was our first day of practice and it was incredible - I'm glad the language of music and the language of our hearts worshipping God is universal - once we started playing and the music we made became communication, I felt a strong connection in worship in that amazing moment. A connection within us in that room as we offered praises in English, en espaƱol, through piano, through guitar, through drums - it was for the glory of His name. As we finished, I utilized my limited Spanish vocabulary to thank and encourage Fernando with a heartfelt, "Muy bien," but I was then greatly encouraged as Fernando pointed upward and said, "God." Simple but entirely true. We are blessed to have a God who hears His people no matter what land or what tongue.

Activities with the kids in the afternoon.
