Redeeming Love Team Day Seven (Friday)

Written by Wendy Tachery

Today was another beautiful warm sunny day. We were picked up at 9:30 am. They took us to the land where the new orphanage is being built. It's eleven acres, and it's so breath taking! It has the view of the volcano and the "Sleeping Lady" mountain - Wow! The land is covered with beautiful yellow, purple and white flowers. They showed us the well that they dug 100 feet down. They are currently building a warehouse. In Mexico, when you have land, people can still trespass until you have a wall built around it. People eat grasshoppers here and hunt them on the land. The land also has fruit trees on it. It was such a blessing to see God's promises coming to pass. What a faithful God we serve.

After the land we went back to the orphanage for lunch and played with the children. Today is our last day to see the kids so I am prepared with plenty of Kleenex because I know there will be crying...

The children usually do a farewell dance for us. I truely love it here and a part of my heart is always here.
