The team woke up this morning and enjoyed a breakfast and a quiet time outside. We were picked up at 9:30 to be taken to the land. We have really been enjoying seeing more of the city as we travel around.
We got to the land after a long bumpy ride. We spent the afternoon making rebar ties for the construction site. We are so moved that the land is always called "our land" because it belongs to both the kids and the staff, but above all God.
After lunch we went to Esperanza Viva and had a delicious lunch. Then we spent the afternoon doing craft projects with the kids. The kids seemed so much more comfortable with us today and we had a great time. The kids especially loved playing with Micah and Sammy.
We went home and had supper. Tonight we met with Jim, Gail and Erin Carlson to hear their amazing story about how God led them to Esperanza Viva. We all went to sleep exhausted, but amazed by God's faithfulness.
