Today the team had an outing to Cholula. They were able to see the
Great Pyramid of Cholula and they also had some time to do some shopping. After their outing, they went back to Epseranza Viva to have lunch and to play with the kids. There was another game of Reloj and some very strange weather with hail and drenching rains. After the games, there was the despedida, or the farewell. Some of the boys did a dance to a song that talked about Jesus being better than any superhero. When the team got back to the group house, they discovered that there was no power so they are roughing it this evening with candles. Overall, it has been a good week.
On top of the pyramid is a church. There is a beautiful view of Cholula.
This is inside the church looking up at the ceiling.
In front of the pyramid.
On top after climbing up the very steep steps.
Eating lunch of black bean soup and a spicy potato dish.
Getting ready to play Reloj again.

The boys during their dance.
The kids praying for the team.
Rain - it was worse later.
Hail on the ground.
Gorgeous white fluffy coulds below and storm clouds above.
Just a very pretty picture of the clouds after the very heavy rain.
