Woodland Hills May Day Two (Sunday)

Last night after we got back to our house from the orphanage, we were all super tired. We sat down and relaxed for a bit. After that we ate dinner. We had ham sandwiches because they were quick and we were all tired! After dinner, we sat down and talked for a while. We planned to be in bed by 9 but we talked so much, we ended staying up until 11! The way our team is getting along is really cool and it is such a sweet blessing from God!
When we woke up this morning (Sunday) we went to church. Nations church is really awesome. They have different murals on each wall. They each have different meanings. The worship there is indescribable. The songs are all in Spanish and you can totally feel the presence of God in the room. Then after church, we went back to our house for a quick lunch and then we went out again. We went with Ryan, Molly, and their kids to Cholula. We shopped and walked around. There are ruins and a pyramid in Cholula. We walked around and saw the ruins and climbed the pyramid. At the top of the pyramid, there is a church that is from the 1600's. It was so pretty! Definitely a good spot for taking pictures. After Cholula, we came back to the house and made dinner. It was a really nice night so we decided to eat outside. For dinner we made chicken and cheese quesadillas. Our team worked really well together to make dinner. There were definitely a lot of laughs and the end result was great too! We enjoyed the great meal, team bonding, and the awesome weather! After dinner, we washed dishes, talked and planned our activities with the kids for the next day. We are extremely thankful for the blessings God has given us thus far this week and we are really excited for what He has in store for us!
