Community Church Day Four (Wednesday)

Today Marilyn and I went to the orphanage while the rest of the team went out to the land.

We cleaned the large sliding door that vehicles use to enter the orphanage courtyard. It is like a big sliding garage door. Then we walked over to the girl's house and did some scrapbooking with the younger girls. The littlest one who is 2-1/2 made a special friend in Marilyn, sitting in her lap, etc.

The rest of the team carried and pounded dirt for the base ground of the sidewalk and they put down another small section of concrete sidewalk.

This afternoon we had a fun time playing with the kids and scrapbooking and singing our song.

Looking forward to worship at Nations Church later tonight. ~Eileen

Half way through already. Spent time with Molly and her kids at their house today. It's amazing how clean and organized the house is. Everyone has their job - wash, dishes, cleaning, food. It touched my heart to walk into the bedroom to see 8 bunks and then a pack and play at the end for 2-1/2 year old Evelyn. All these kids and I haven't seen any fighting. The kids are really warming up to us.

Boys will be boys...
