Redeeming Love Team Day One (Saturday)

The team arrived today and we were excited to see the orphanage and meet the kids. The afternoon consisted of taking a tour through the dorms, seeing the school and meeting the beautiful children and staff who call this place home. We had an interesting lunch made up of chicken, authentic rice and beans and veduras (mexican squash??). We finished the day by playing with the kids in the rain. We are anxiously awaiting tomorrow where we will get to see the church and worship with the children. We feel blessed to have the opportunity to be here and serve the Lord.
