North Heights Lutheran

(Written Monday)
In the morning we had extra time so we had giant muffins for breakfast and played lots of cards. We're officially hooked! We had an orientation by Juana (a leader of the orphanage) and got a tour of the whole place.
The next few hours were easy, considering Josh had brought a backpack full of toys. Sports are also loved by the kids. We got back to make our first supper and it started pouring just as we got inside. Thank God for holding off on the rain until we left the orphanage. After supper it was still raining, but it had made a puddle large enough to be 5 years old again. (We got SOAKED.)
Before bed we had a long devotional time about hearing God's voice in many ways. We had discussion, and then we splitoff to have one-on-one time to hear God speak. Many great stories were told. Liz taught us the 5 steps of intercession: sin, self, satan, spirit, shanks (thanks). Then we played a game using intercession to guess what color someone else is thinking of. Many people got it right. The Holy Spirit was in the room!
