We have had another great day! We had very sore muscles, but continued to dig for the retaining wall. It is hard work, but will be worth it. The crafts have been going well and we are having a tremendous time bonding with the kids. It has been so neat to see how the discipleship takes place at Esperanza Viva; God has his hands on these young people giving them blessings and the promise of a future. The worship times have been fabulous and it is so neat to see how God is using the missionaries! It challenges us to give more!

Today I attended a class with the “La Viña”. My pastor, Pastor Jonathan, and his wife, spoke. It was amazing to sit and listen to a great message, being translated. I love playing with the kids. They really know how to pull your heart strings. This trip is coming close to an end. It is sad; I have grown a hatched to this place. God´s presence just radiates here. It´s one of the best feelings ever. I have found a reoccurring theme here. I keep gaining knowledge from people who are a little more nature than me. Whether it is spiritually, or a chess game, I haven´t stopped learning since I stepped foot on this campus, and I believe you can never stop learning

This is my third year coming to E.V on a short term mission’s trip. And ever time I come it never get old. There are always new things that I learn. Things that help me grow with my relationship with God and others. We all come with the expectations of blessing the kids yet it always feels like the kids bless me more than I could ever bless the kids that bless me but also the staff supervisors. Their love and patience for the kids and show so much patience with the kids and show so much love. It blesses my heart every time I come here. And I couldn’t thank God enough that I have the opportunity to come and serve down here.
