Today was another great day at Esperanza Viva. The boys woke up early and made everyone breakfast. Who knew they could cook? :) Then Katie and James did devotions on how to bring what we learned in Mexico back to Wisconsin. Shortly after that, Juana came for a de-briefing at the group house.
Out at the work site we finished laying and tamping dirt for the base of the bathroom and sorted lumber and burned garbage.
Back at the orphanage, shortly after lunch, we were hit with a downpour of rain for about an hour. Jase and James still played basketball, but most of the kids hid inside. :) When it had stopped raining, the younger girls came over and we drew pictures and made cards until it was time for us to leave.
Right now, the boys are making hamburgers for dinner and the girls are laying around. :) We hope all is well at home and please keep us in your prayers on our final full day and travel day.

Today the team went to downtown Puebla on an outing. In the afternoon there was a despedida (a farewell program) for the team. Here are some pictures from it.
Some of the girls performed a dance for the team.
The little boys did a dance also.
The kids prayed for the team. We actually had two teams here this week. A Mexican team from Vera Cruz was here for two days. The two teams were awesome together.
The team had the kids write on their shirts.
