Thinking back to last night’s worship service, we were moved by the artwork covering the walls. Kate explained how Nations Church strongly believes that the Spirit moves through artwork. Several pieces on the wall were even created during their worship times. We all really enjoyed the band’s music during the service!
This morning Rene and Kate drove us out to the land. The ride there was just like any other ride here – crazy! We are thankful for the skill of good drivers! There is always so much to see out our windows. Puebla is shop after shop, nonstop activity. Once we got to the land, it was wide open spaced with a crisp breeze coming across. The site encompasses eleven acres – like 8 to 10 football fields? It was recently terraced and as we walked along Kate and Rene told us where we were crossing the church-to-be, school-to-be, etc. We were able to see the workers building the future dormitory. There is a great vision for this land, and we are excited to be a part of it.
In a little while we will be playing with the kids again and reading a story and doing crafts.
Later this afternoon we will have a prayer and worship time with the staff – we are looking forward to that!
Until later!
God bless!
