Today is Friday June 25th!
Today was a free morning as most people put it. We decided to go to the center of Puebla, and go SHOPPING!!! In my personal opinion Mexican shopping is so much fun! You go around to little tiny shops and just buy things, haha. Everything is so much cheaper and a lot cuter! After shopping we had to RUN to the bus. We were home for about two minutes to drop off all our new things. Then we went to the orphanage. We got to spend a lot of time with the kids before we had a little goodbye party. It was a bitter sweet goodbye to know that we only had one more day before we would have to leave. We did two songs for them, and one we did with sign language. Our first song was “I could sing of your love forever”, and “Mighty to Save” in SPANISH!
After our songs, the little girls of the orphanage gave everyone a paper telling them how much the appreciated us coming down to their home, and how much it meant to them, to come from our homes to a foreign country and see them, and get to know them. The little boys also made us a poster. We listened to an amazing song written by one of the older girls there that Lissa sponsors. Once the goodbye was over we had some time to just hang out with the kids. We played games took pictures and just had a good time.
We got home and had some great dinner. Veggies, fruit salad and yummy hamburgers made by Shan’s amazing group! Our tummies were full and we were happy as we had some more time to just chillax. We made some balloon animals and talked about our day. After awhile Jerry and Susie McNally came over to have a little Q and A time. It was amazing to hear how everything got started. I think we all were in awe by their stories.
Time for bed and adios.

Pictures from today (Saturday):
The team singing with the kids again.
Mario is writing a note to some very special people and Lissa is translating words that the team had for some of the kids at EV.
Mariah bought a Chinese Yo-Yo downtown yesterday. She is very good at it.
I am not sure if the balloons were supposed to be a bandana or what.
Can you figure out who this is?
The team praying for one of the staff members.
The kids all made huge connections with the kids which makes saying goodbye that much harder.
