Word of Grace Day Three (Tuesday)

God really has been moving in our hearts this week. It's been awesome to see our team so unified in both our work activities (which today consisted of taking down two trees in our patio where we're staying) and our activities with the children of Esperanza Viva.

This afternoon we had an amazing time of prayer and intercession where God spoke to us through the staff. There were a lot of tears but God clearly confirmed some things on individual hearts, and I think in general renewed our visions and call for our lives.

I know we're making an impact on the kids, but I think we're leaving with a bigger impact. It will be impossible to leave unchanged! Thank you God for what You're doing here at Living Hope and how you've humbled the staff today enough to reach out and minister to us!

Yeah, so I don't know how to start this off. Well, it's been a really great experience so far. I love the niƱos, you can see the beauty of Christ in each of their faces, they are so beautiful. Today, there was a chico named Kevin who came up to us with his hands covered in paint, and wiped it all over us. And this other little guy with real big eyes kept looking at me real shy and smiling and then looking away, and then looking back at me to see if I was looking. Ha, ha. He was so cute. I couldn't stop smiling at him. Anyway, that was a kinda pointless story. Ha, ha.

And through these worship sessions, these people have such passion and fire for Christ, it's amazing. They are so in tune with him. It makes me think that the less you have, the closer you are to Christ. Like in America, anything you want is right at your fingertips. But here in Mexico, you work for what you need, you struggle to make a living, and everyone is so much closer to each other.

Well, anyways, these are my thoughts. Nuestro Dios es poderoso.

Love,
Keti :o)

Today we had a blast playing with the kids. We were painting pictures and one of the little boys named Kevin got paint all over his hands and then starting wiping it on us. Then some of the other kids started to copy him. Soon most of us were covered in paint.

After we were done painting we all got together for a group photo and I picked up a little boy named Lalo and he immediately put his arms around my neck and his head on my shoulder. He was so sweet.

The coolest part about this place is the fact that you can't stop smiling even if you want to.

Today the kids really seemed to enjoy the singing and painting project. We were blessed with an awesome praise and worship service, by the staff, at our guest house. Everyone felt the Lord's presence. We made a campfire and roasted hot dogs over the fire. The Lord has blessed us with an unbelievable trip so far. All of us are making special connections with the kids. It will be difficult for us to leave. The kids are so special. God's love is so clear to see when you look into their eyes.
