Hi guys!
So we have safely landed in Puebla. We made it after 2 flights from Chicago to Houston and finally to Mexico. We are so excited. This year we are staying in the group mission home closer to the orphanage, this leaves us more time to play with the children of Esperanza Viva.
So far we have been able to bring all of our donated clothes, shoes, etc. to EV as well as visit Nations Church in town. God is definitely bringing our team closer with testimonies, devotions each day/night, meals with the kids, construction projects together…
The kids are getting use to seeing us each day and are now calling us by name. Today we helped EV construct an area to pave to keep the generator that supplies energy to the entire compound. As well as working in the “Garden of Hope” which inspires each and every child of EV. We just finished an awesome game of capture the flag with 30+ children, 3 years old and up (17)
Our God moves beyond borders to care for his beloved, we look forward to what the Lord envisions for our time with EV and the individual lives of our team members.
Adios for now!
