North Heights

Esperanza Viva was an amazing experience. I was amazed at how well the kids treated each other. I loved how excited they were to see us, and how I felt that I was making a difference in their lives. I hope that I'll be able to remember this experience for a long time, and that I really did impact their lives.

Friday was out last day at Esperanza Viva. In the morning we went into downtown Puebla and saw the gigantic cathedral. Then we went to the shopping area until lunch time. Aftwerwards, we played with the kids and did crafts until the farewell. For the farewell, the kids danced and handed out cards for us. Then they all prayed for us, it was very moving and I got pretty sad. Finally, I played basketball for a little bit, said final goobyes to my friends and went to bed before our departing.
