Well, it is Saturday and I felt asleep last night before Doua Che could get me her phone so at 7:30 I jump awake to harmonious noise of harps and then wake up everyone else. I began devotionals with Leviticus 19:18 just about unconditional love and led it to John 15:12 “Greater Love” the verses really relate to how I feel this week, how I’ve learned that love speaks no language “bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (1 Corinthians 13:7)
Our morning was spent viewing gorgeous silver and most of our team found stuff that fit. Then Ivana came and talked to us about sponsorship. The group feels really led to try and raise money for the water treatment plant, it´s a $5,000 dollar project. But, in Christ, we know we can help do it. I also want to sponsor a kid, my dad told me to “take home a kid” as in let´s sponsor. I am going to trust in God to decide.
We had a scavenger hunt in the mid-morning where the adorable little kids went on a mad dash for foam eggs with “Jesús te ama” on them. They had to find a certain color, recite “Jesús te ama” and then if they found enough, they got candy. The smiles were endless and endearing.

I love Esperanza Viva – Living Hope!
This week has been the best week ever. Honestly, coming here I didn’t know what to expect but nw. I know that God brought me here to restore “Hope” in me. The kids are so beautiful and full of life, our theme this week was to SHINE! I know that as we taught them to SINE, they were really SHINING to us. I will always remember all that God has done for me this week. From the kids, to the sight seeing, to the Nations Church, to the life story telling, everything was definitely ignition to the passion burning in me to make a change!
I love Esperanza Viva!
