Woodland Hills

¡Hola! As I write this I am surrounded by little boys sharing their creative side by coloring bookmarks we brought with us. These children are great, they try everything we show them. They are so kind and helpful, it is like a giant family here. They are about each other and enjoy being together. I was surprised that they all welcomed us so joyfully, after all they see so many groups. Speaking of groups, I love mine! I am so extremely blessed to be here with these people. We work together so well, we all help each other a ton and look for ways to lift one another up. We finished the work project today! I don't believe I have dug and re-dug a hole that many times. The work was not only physically hard but also mentally tough. It was hard to stick to a task for that long. Something that helped our focus was the good that our work will do for the orphanage.
We spent our evening at Molly and Ryan's house, we ate Domino's pizza! It was as if our group had never eaten before, we ate so much! It was wonderful being in a home with a family, if only for a few hours. Well, that's pretty much it for today, thanks for reading! - Tori Von Sickle

Hey everyone! This is Hannah Hendrix!
I am pretty sure this is the last blog for the Woodland Hills Team, Which I think is pretty sad. Personally, and I know some of my team feel this way as well, I have found a home here. I've grown accustom to the routine here, and I love it. I love the alarm Damaris has and eating lunch with the kids, and watching God's work in them. Our last day here was spent in Downtown Puebla. We went to an incredible and awe-inspiring cathedral. We also shopped around in a super cool market and got gifts for our wonderful parents and siblings. We had about an hour or so to shop and we found some cool stuff. When we got back to Living Hope, the kids had a surprise waiting for us. The middle boys thanked us for our time. The little boys sang us a bible verse and the middle girls made a dance for us. It was beyond awesome! Then they prayed for us as a send off! I will really miss this place. See y'all soon! Lots of love!
