Westbrook Church Team

Through this past week in Puebla, each member of the team has used their God given talents in the best way. To put an end to the week, instead of a couple people trying to blog about everyones' experiences and how God has been present, each member of the team has just a few words to sum up their thoughts. 

Kevin-- "We came to serve these children, but got touched so much by the kids. It was an amazing experience. Can't wait to visit again!"

Mykalanne-- "I came into this trip thinking that I would be helping these children, but it was quickly clear to me that it was the children who were teaching us. The relationships we've gained are everlasting. Our family in Christ has grown vastly within this week."

Angie-- "I discovered that I am able to love children that I have know for one week. My heart feels empty for the little boy that I am sponsoring. I can't wait to write him and tell him I love and miss him!"

David-- "My original reaction was how poor this area was as we drove through the town. I soon realized how rich these children and staff are in spirit, love, and relationships so much more than I."

Michael-- "It's amazing how EV has received kids from the most difficult environments and loved them so much. You see them now as loving happy kids."

Lauren-- "This has been the most amazing, spiritual, life-changing experience of my life. These kids have changed my life dramatically. Even though I will miss them, they will be in my heart forever!"

Bill-- "We came to serve and work, which we did, but we found ourselves so very touched by the kids. Saying goodbye was very hard. Dios te Bendiga!"

Caleb-- "It's cool how all of these kids got abandoned or given away and they're still happy all the time!"

Andrew H.-- "It was cool to see all the kids at the youth center. I met a lot of little kids and I'm sad we are leaving."

Eli-- "I love EV! Seeing the smiles on the kids' faces gives me energy to face the day."

Kylie-- "Building relationships with the children is something that is incredible! Leaving them is going to be so hard. I am hoping to come back to EV soon!"

Molly-- "Even though we have just met them, they treat us like they've known all of us for years."

Angela-- "Powerful, moving."

Wendy-- "What the hey man!!! It was amazing!! Couldn't have been anymore memorable."

Andrew B.-- "Life changing experience..."

Krin-- "It is amazing how fast a relationship can be built with these kids! The staff is so giving, loving, and dedicated and leaving the children has left a whole in my heart."

Sue-- "God's love is abundant!"

Kim-- "EV is an amazing place filled with amazing staff and children provided by an amazing God! What an experience!"

Matt-- "Great trip that provided awesome oppurtunities! I would do it again in a heartbeat."

Emily-- "You couldn't ask for a better team to serve an even better ministry. I don't think anyone will leave with an unchanged faith in God."

As you can tell through just a couple sentences, God has really worked in each of our hearts as we have served throughout Puebla!
