Westbrook Team

(Written April 13th)

Yesterday, we had the oppurtunity to choose children to sponser from the youth home and everyone had a hard time of who to pick. We all wanted to sponser them all! Some of the team has child sponsers of various countries, but we all found this different because we have already developed a personal relationship with the kids here. Saying goodbye to all of these kids at the farewell celebration they are holding for us tonight will be very emotional for the whole team.

This week we have stayed in a house complex about a mile from the youth home in two separate houses, one for boys and one for girls. As the week has progressed, we have all grown spiritually and emotionally. For a house that is meant to hold a family of five, you can feel the Holy Spirit present even with all twenty four of us crammed into small spaces. Not going to lie, but we have a pretty awesome team. God is truly the awesome one though!

As we reflect on this past week in Puebla, we are so grateful for the oppurtunity that we have had to serve God is so many different ways. We came down here to minister to the kids at the Youth Home, but it has really turned around as we have been served and ministered to by them.

Dios Te Bendiga!
