Officially in México
After a great night sleep at the Houston, Texas airport, we have officially arrived to Mexico. I still can´t believe that we are here in Mexico: Esperanza Viva. Praise the Lord for such a great and smooth flight. The girls have so much energy, which I am so thankful for. I cannot wait to spend a week with all the girls.
When we got to Esperanza Viva, we didn´t know really what to expect. It was definitely exciting! We ate with the kids and that was awesome. We unpacked into our mission’s home and were so blessed – it´s amazing! With hot water and awesome bed sheets, we were reminded to not flush toilet paper down lol. Anyways, we got here on Tuesday and normally on Tuesday at Esperanza Viva, the staff gathers together to pray for the new missionaries. It was definitely an experience we will always remember. The staff at Esperanza Viva ministered to us and wow – the words were so deep. They emphasized how unique our Girls Group is – we´re the first girls group to come to Esperanza Viva, the first young group overall and the first group to experience the Missions home for all the Short Term Missionaries. There were many other prophetic words for our group too. Overall, God is good. He reminded our group that we´re here at Esperanza Viva for a reason and that God is definitely going to pour out on us. I can´t wait as well to chill with the girls and experience all that God has for us here.
