East Hill

Sunday- Today we got up and attended church. It was an awesome service and the kids were amazed at the feelings they had while worshipping in another language. It was a realization that even as we worship God, these people, so full of passion for the Lord, serve the same God.
After church, we went back to the home and had a lunch of Mexican squash, a hardboiled egg, rice, beans and tortillas. We were supposed to go on an outing to the Great Pyramid of Cholula but because of some rainy weather and other circumstances with transportation we were not able to. Instead we were able to have a special time watching a Narnia movie with the kids and having popcorn. The kids all shared popcorn with the kids from EV and it was adorable. Again, God is testing our moto – We are FAT. The team watched the movie in Spanish with English subtitles while sitting next to some of the cutest kids on the planet.
It was then time for dinner and then time with the kids playing in the courtyard. The kids played basket ball and volleyball while others visited with the kids from EV. Everyone is loving the relationships they are developing with the kids here.
We ended the night with worships and devotions. Mariah gave our devotional tonight and had us in Isaiah talking about our calling and how it relates to our mission trip and life. She did an awesome job.
Another great day!!!!
