Hi! Greetings from Mexico! We arrived SUPER late Saturday night/ Sunday morning. We went straight to the orphanage and fell into bed. The next morning, when our brains were working better, we were able to take in our surroundings. There is a beautiful volcano with a ring of snow and a cloud at the top. To the right is a massive mountain range. They call it the "sleeping beauty" because the tops of the mountains form what looks like a lady sleeping. Our dorm rooms are so cool; they have real mattresses and super big restrooms. One interesting thing here in Mexico is that their sewer and filtration system is not so strong, so we cannot put our toilet paper in the toilet, it goes into the trash instead! On Sunday night we traveled to a city called Cholula, there is a beautiful church at the top of a massive hill, so we climbed the hill and toured the church, it was so cool! We then went back down the hill and experienced the market! There were tons of street sellers and vendors selling all sorts of things, food, jewelry, clothing, handbags and much more. It started down-pouring all of a sudden, so we quickly ducked into an adorable café. There we watched the Olympics for a bit and ordered yummy coffees. Later that night our team got together to worship and connects with our group. I think that was my favorite part of the day. I love connecting with the group and worshiping. It was wonderful to come together and speak what was in our hearts and minds. After that we hit the sack, thank goodness. Well, that's all for now.
