East Hill Church

(Written Saturday)

As we awaken it is in the front of our minds that our homecoming is coming soon. Although we are all a bit homesick, the thought of leaving the kids is painful.

Everyone is looking forward to a day of shopping in Cholula and a chance to visit the big church on top of the hill and the pyramid of Cholula.

Today will be our big carnival day with the kids. It is all fun and no purpose, except to bless the kiddos. What a great day.

Thank you for the prayers for our ill team member. Nicole is feeling better but we now have another struggling with illness. Please continue to pray that we can finish strong and not miss a moment with the kids.

Lissa has instructed me I must reveal myself as the author of the blog. If you hadn’t guessed, Liz is the one with the mismatched shoes. But in revealing my identity I must also reveal Lissa’s bright shining moment with our team. In an attempt to check her voice mail, she used one phone to dial hers, hoping to access the system. As her phone began to ring Adrian admonished her to not answer the phone, but she answered anyway. As she said hello, she finally realized who was on the other end. Thank you Lissa for comic relief that has had the team in stitches for the last two days.
